CHIC, BIKER CHIC

Rebels have always had way better style. Designers on the long-run have always reinterpreted their outlaw look, doing biker chic with an emphasis on chic, rebel attitude with a romantic streak.

Within this particular style, studs, leather, fringe, and frayed denim are still the basic elements, but for spring they're treated with a softer touch: paired with prints, beaded pieces, and knits, finessed with fine finishes, exotic skins, and gilded accents.

Studs and faded grey denim bring out the bad-girl side of a smart shirtdress, while python-embossed lace-up boots are the ultimate in tough-luxe.

A timeless statement piece, is for sure the fringe vests, it adds an instant cool factor to whatever it's paired with, be it summer basics or a party dress. Catherine Malandrino does it best.

Mix n Match is a must for anybody fashion conscious, NOTE how the studded vest tempers the sweetness of the crochet top, in this image:

Easy how-to: Incorporate an outlaw element into your everyday look with a brass-studded scarf or a fringe carryall, as seen below:

."Sweatshirt Dressing Meets Elevated Design".

Noteworthy newcomer "AIKO" redefines the concept of casual dressing with a distinctive, fashion foward collection of day-to-night looks. I consider this to be totally usable, and will be a succesful collection, because I feel that a combination of comfortable and clever makes for an interesting palette, in reference towards any wardrobe.

.Be BOLD.

Bold patterns, and bright colors, should have a space in everyone's closet. These pieces you can mix n match them up numberless times, fitting them for any occasion. Its always good to sometimes have something bright upon an yourself and your outfit, it can be clothes, shoes, the nail polish, makeup, etc.
Concluding: it basically makes a statement, based on how you wear and work it.
Can you pull it off ? As Jay would put it, "FAB or FUG ?"

. Gossip Girl .

Besides being a hit Tv series, including one of the most different and uniquely beautiful cast members. From the places they shoot, to the fashion sense each character portrays, and the undeniable power that Chuck Bass has to make all girls want more, and how Serena Van der W.'s contagious laugh makes us smile, how Dan Humphrey's humility makes him even more lovable...etc. Its a combination of things that make this show "can't take my eyes off" type of show. They show us the life of "Manhattan's elite", it is intriguing and addictive, especially for those of us who love and live for fashion and adore watching each episode, one more avant-gard than the other! From season 1, 2, 3...and so on the sense of fashion just evolves  and keeps us wanting more.
This should be upon anyone's MUST watch list, for sure!

.Eclecticism: Street Chic.

It doesn't get more fashion forward than street chic, heroine chic, etc. This style has become timeless, because it simply consists of a "right" combination of clothing, none the less mixing patterns, old & new tendencies, I would consider this as one of the many derivations that can come about from  " eclecticism ".

Eclecticism is known as " a tendency in architecture and the decorative arts to mix various historical styles with modern elements with the aim of combining the virtues of many styles or increasing allusive content ".

I personally love this style, and find it just amazing, you can go from casual to night wear, to job appropriate, etc. It has so many variations, this is not something you can keep count of, there are just endless ways of portraying it.
