.Oscars 2012. Other well dressed picks besides the "Best".

.Oscars 2012. My Best Dressed picks.

My #1 favorite look:
Emma Stone was just pure perfection, stunning in this gorgeous silk gown by Giambattista Valli, from the Spring/Summer 2012 haute couture collection.
Emma pulled her hair into a sleek side-parted bun to allow for the large bow detail at her neck to stand out. The color of this gown as seen on tv and the pictures seems to be red but it actually is a vibrant pink hue/fuchsia that is noticed from the runway pictures of this collection. Since the dress spoke for itself Emma kept her make-up light and accessorized with a stunning crystal embellished Louis Vuitton minaudière(clutch), pink stone earrings and a diamond chain link bracelet from Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry. As for the shoes she wore a pair of fuchsia satin "Karlin" platform sandals by
Brian Atwood.
She hands down wore this dress beautifully, when she walked through that red carpet, it was just OOC(Out of Control)!

My #2 favorite look:
Angelina Jolie looked flawless in this Atelier Versace gown.
This Black Custom-made strapless velvet gown with a thigh-high split was completed with Salvatore Ferragamo custom-made black velvet peep toe pumps, accessorized with jewels from Neil Lane and a Jaime Mascaro clutch. To complete this look, her hair was fabulous full of untamed waves and kept her makeup basic with dark eyes and her classic red luscious lips.
Angelina has had slits in her gowns before but never has done the "leg pop" so fiercely and worked this gown hard! she definitely looked exquisite!

My #3 favorite look:
Gwyneth Paltrow just breath taking, gorgeous and astounding! in Tom Ford
This white column gown with an asymmetric neckline and an uber chic cape, from a not-yet-seen Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Tom Ford. Tom Ford has been waiting for a major Oscar moment since he launched his womenswear collection, and he can totally claim this as a MAJOR moment. Gwyneth completed her ensemble with a chic low ponytail, barely-there makeup, radiant diamonds(ring and cuff)from Anna Hu, and gold open-toe sandals by Jimmy Choo.
Gwyneth Paltrow just portrays a natural beauty and is a major example for how "less is more" works to perfection. This is a look that you will either "love" or "hate", but in my opinion you better love it! Btw no need to flaunt with earrings or necklace her amazing face itself is enough!
My #4 favorite look:
Michelle Williams portraying a modern meets retro look in Louis Vuitton
The color of this dress on screen looked red it is actually a shade of coral, and LV calls it "burnt orange". This costume-made gown is just dreamy and looks absolutely stunning from the ruched bustling, the on trend peplum skirt with a delicate sparkling bow appliqué, the ribbon layering, and the impeccable termination of the gown which fits to perfection.
To complete this look her makeup was kept simple eyeliner and pink lips, a pink Botegga Veneta crocodile knot clutch, diamond jewels from Fred Leighton for Forevermark, and Christian Louboutin "Lady Peep" gold pumps.
This dress on Michelle was simply stunning against her milky complexion. Michelle is another good example of "less is more" when it comes to accessorizing, there is no need to over-do a look when the gown itself contains architecture and is a work of art.
My #5 favorite look:
Jennifer Lopez as always daring and looking fit and avant-garde in Zuhair Murad
This nude silk tulle gown with transparent crystal beading, a plunging neckline and large cut-out sleeves, with an optical illusion of sheer panels all over, it was custom made for JLo and modified from a design featured in Murad’s Spring/Summer 2012 haute couture collection.
She complete her look with a high Cinderella-esqué bun, super-striking eye makeup, diamond jewelry and a Salvatore Ferragamo silver mirrored minaudière from the Resort 2012 Collection.
This was one of the most talked about dresses of the night! Some found this choice a little to risqué for the Oscars, but lets face it this is quite flawless and this is JLo we are talking about, a show-stopping bombshell! She worked it and it was OOC.

My #6 favorite look:
Kristen Wiig looking gorgeous in J.Mendel.
This amazing nude strapless gown nips at the waist before trailing into a flawless shirred tulle skirt, this is from J.Mendel's Pre-Fall 2012 collection.
This gown to me is perfection, from the layout of the design, to the detailing and impeccable execution from the bust-line to the flowy shirred tulle skirt. The dress definitely speaks for itself.
Kristen wore her hair simple yet beautiful with smooth curls, diamond bangles and a gorgeous emerald ring by Neil Lane complete this look.

My #7 favorite look:
Milla Jovovich looked breathtaking and regal in Elie Saab.
This white fully embellished one shoulder gown with an exaggerated shoulder was an Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture gown.
Her hair was perfection with retro waves. Completing the look with hot red lips,  Jacob&Co jewelry, an Edie Parker clutch, and Elie Saab platforms.
Milla was one of the first to walk through the red carpet, and definitely "shut it down" and oozed sexy sophistication that was worthy of this amazing stunning gown.

My #8 favorite look:
Cameron Diaz looking astonishing and radiant in Gucci Première.
Cameron a veteran at the Oscars, once again in a show-stopping ensemble, a form fitting pale nude, strapless, silk ruffled gown, with a full skirt of chiffon plissé layers embroidered with nude and silver glass bugle beads and silver fringing.
Cameron always showing off her flawless beauty with very little and natural looking makeup. For her hair she styled her sleek bob, parted to the side, and sweeping bangs. She completed her look with jewelry by Tiffany&Co., a fringed clutch, and a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo blush satin peep-toe pumps.
This dress was dreamy, playful and elegant, she wore it to perfection from head-to-toe, the simplicity of the bodice paired with such a stunning embellished full skirt makes this fabulous gown worthy to be worn to an event such as this.
